Wängle

Wängle
Set on a plateau above Reutte, Wängle was earlier the spiritual centre of the area and parish of Aschau, which stretched to Vorderhornbach. Wängle is a typical small Lech valley community with a beautiful church. The many paintings and frescos in the church of St Martin were mostly created by master Paul Zeiler.
The village of 800 inhabitants is set at the foot of the Hahnenkamm and also includes the hamlets of Holz, Winkl, Niederwängle and Hinterbichl.
